 Dr. Kumar Sargam, an author of Blog, is Assistant Professor in Hindustani Classical Vocal Music as well as a vocalist, music composer, songwriter, narrator, and music counselor. He has also assisted as a vocalist, music mentor, and program judge in Indian Idol and other reality shows. He has the privilege to published 20 research papers in (Scopus, UGC-CARE, and UGC Approved Peer Reviewed) National and International Journals dealing with music and Musicology. In a Seven-year teaching career, Dr. Sargam has published the Book- Music of Brahmans, Pranav Sudha and contributed in the academic part of Indian Classical Music. He is fortunate that 5 book chapters were published in different books that deal with Indian Musicology. It is a matter of gratitude that Dr. Sargam was provided an opportunity to participate and Present Research papers at 14 International Conferences, 8 National Seminars and also participated in Five National Workshops conducted by Eminent artists of Indian Classical Music. In the recent COVID pandemic, six certification courses in Music from Berklee College USA, one from University of Edinburg, UK, and one from California Institute of the Arts, USA is one of the great achievements that accelerates his music career towards the theory and practical aspect in Western Music. It is a privilege that Dr. Sargam got an opportunity to study at Banaras Hindu University and completed his Master's degree in Music and also successfully complete a Ph.D. in Vocal Music. Apart from university Education, Dr. Sargam is also the Disciple of Pandit Surendra Mohan Mishra - Mohan Ji, an eminent Guru of Banaras Gharana, learning techniques of various genres of Classical Music for the Past 15 years.
