Jain and Buddist Period
The Jain and Buddhist period in India was supposed to be one of the fertile periods for Arts and Culture. During the 6th century BCE, the classical music tradition in Bharat Varsh was confined to the fundamental day-to-day activities like worshiping God, Salvation, and Rituals activities. Music instruments, dancing, singing, chanting, and extreme peace in meditation were accompanied by music tradition having the flavor of classic music.
